HP tape library MSL8096 after splitting into 2 logical libraries, server B: sees the library twice
Hello HP Gurus,
we are having a HP LTO 3 Library MSL8096 with 4 LTO3 drives.
We configured the library into two logicial libraries.
The library is fibre connected to two servers.
Server A is running Windows 2012 R2 and seeing the library correctly with two drives.
Server B is running Windows 2003 and seeing the library double, with four drives.
Server B is running IBMs TSM Software and we want to migrate the old data into our new backup solution.
We are out of ideas, why the TSM Server B is seeing the library double.
The HP MSL 8096 is having its latest firmeware version.
For your ideas, hints and tips many thanks.
Best regards
Carlos Behlau
