HPE Library and Tape Tools 4.27 firmware update for HP LTO-6 Ultrium 6250

Hello,

I have recently bought a HP LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 tape deck and installed HPE library and Tape tools. 

The software successfully scans and shows my HP LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 tape deck.

When I click the firmware tab it says that there are no matching firmware files in th firmware folder. I have tried to download the firmware files using the L&TT Firmware Download tool but the token is invalid as I do not have active warranty or support agreement linked to my HP Support Center profile. Am able to procure this on the website? I have purchased this hardware from a third party via ebay but surely I should be able to download the firmware online? 

Can anyone please put me in the right direction.

I have the same problem. I have a 6250 LTO-6 drive, and the L&TT ultility fails to download the newest firmware, it says:

"Firmware download failed.Please enter the valid token."

I currently have firmware 353D. How can I get the firmware update?

Hello,

Custoemer with Active Contract or Warranty can download the latest firmware from HPE.com ..
