Hardware failure
Please help me...
I have a DAT 72 USB internal tape drive on a Proliant server running Server 2003 software.
I recently attempted to update the firmware of the tape drive thru the TLL program. Mistakingly, this was done while the tape backup job was running.
Now when I attempt to upgrade the firmware, TLL indicates it is running in restricted mode and I get a hardware failure with the follow error message:
SCSI TUR failure with Sense Condition
Sense Information: Sensekey: 0x4, ASC/ASCQ: 0x40/0x2 (Diagnostic Failure on FRU 2 - Mechanism Error)
Can anyone help me on this matter?
Thanks in advance.
Attached is the error log...
