How can I restring the leader in a DLT drive?

The tape is stuck and the lights blinking. Perhaps the tape is bad and I must restring the leader inside the DLT drive, but I don't know how.

Have a look at the next page of this forum (31-45 of 102), there is a posting called "leds flashing". There is a description of how to do it.
