ISSUE with a TAPE
Hi,
I've got an issue with a tape.
My server is doing a backup job, using DATA PROTECTOR EXPRESS, with a COMPAQ SDLT 320 Drive and TAPE HP SUPER DLTape I 320 Gb.
Lately since I changed the tape everyday on the morning when I go see if the backup went well, the DATA PROTECTOR EXPRESS gives me the following message: "ERROR 1401 - Please insert Media". I've been trying to understand the error searching in foruns and Help web pages, but there's so many factors to that error that, I just can't understand the Error.
What I've done wrong?
Best Regards,

Re: ISSUE with a TAPE
The media probably has a name already, this name is assigned for a especific job therefore it will only be used on this job. you can erase this media or erase all other jobs.

Re: ISSUE with a TAPE
Hi,
First of all, I want to thank you for your Help.
But now I've got another issue.
Well, I have runned a Identify media job, that seems to solved my problem, now I've got another error, that can be more serious that the first one.
The error is - ERROR 4039: "MEDIA DATA ERROR DETECTED".
I've done a cleansing job in the tape device, so what can be going wrong?
