Installing hp colorado 5GB travan drive on XP Pro edition

The hp colorado 5GB travan drive currently resides on an Win95 machine which is networked to an XP Pro (soon to be our new server). What are the steps I should take to move the backup tape drive onto the XP machine. I downloaded the CB2V90 software but have not installed it on XP yet.
