Int/Ext Cable suitability for SDLT320 on Netserver 4100
Hi,
I have an SDLT320 external tapedrive linked to the internal SCSI A connector of a NetServer 4100 series. Running Win2000 SP4 and Veritas 8.6
The cable in use at the moment is the internal cable from the server which works but I need to verify that I can replace it with the Internal- to-External cable p/n:159547-B22 which looks as though it is more suitable.
Apparently no one thought it useful to publish any pics/schematics of the cable. Hence the request.
TIA
Ian Lewis

Re: Int/Ext Cable suitability for SDLT320 on Netserver 4100
Hi Ian,
Is this the TC4100 Netserver you have?
From what I can see of that server the external SCSI port is embedded on the system board and does not need an internal to external cable to function.
Thanks,
Jacob Zeeman
