K360 3404 HBA any supported Ultriums?

We have HPUX11 model K360 with 3404 HBA. Is there any chance to connect Ultrium LTO2 tape?

A3404A is private loop only fibre channel HBA. You will be able to connect only if you have FC-SCSI bridge and some FC and SCSI cables

Hi,

I had same issue. I did not any way to connect K class servers with Ultrium directly.

Then, What I did that I have installed SCO Unix on Intel based server and connect Ultrium locally on SCO System and got backup of K Class via network/NFS

Don't forget that HPUX 11i does not support this card at all. The card will only run as private loop.
