Re: L&TT and Arcserve
-reboot the server or better shut down and wait for one minute so that the Tape Drive get reset (it may be that some module of LTT hang and lock the tape)
-Check if drive is detected at boot time
-if Your OS is W2K or W2K3 be sure to stop RSM service.
-If you have previously installed some Backup SW, be sure to have removed all the components

Re: L&TT and Arcserve
Shutting down the server, even pulling out the drives, didn't help.
Next step I will do is de- and reinstall Arcserve.
Thanks.

Re: L&TT and Arcserve
long time - but the DAT24i still don't work. Deinstalling L&TT, De-, Reinstalling Arcserve2000 (twice) - the tapes go "offline" when I put one in.
Recognized by SCSI-Bios is ok, service (RSM ?)
is not running.
Any help?
Dieter
