LSI HBA occurs "Device slot number is outside the enclosure range"
When I use LSI 9300-8e to connect with my storage which includes one disk, the operation system displays the event "Device slot number is outside the enclosure range". I know the root cause is that the device slot number of this disk is very large. But I still have some problems:
1. How does LSI 9300-8e check the value of enclosure range ?
2. Which SAS SMP Reply packet or SCSI Reply packet describes the enclosure range ?
Thanks for your help!
