LTO 3 920 I/O Error Reset To Device
Hello,
We're having issues with this tape drive on a new 2008R2 server : When backing up small amounts of data or running the L&TT test all works fine, but when backing up larger quantities of data the backup fails with the error mentioned below in Event Viewer. (Reset to device,\Device\RaidPort0 was issued.
Firmware was updated to Q24D with HP L&TT. Drive is external, connected via HP SC08Ge.

Re: LTO 3 920 I/O Error Reset To Device
Hi Dirk,
Firstly I would suggest that you verify the compatibility of the Drive-HBA-Server from the following link and navigate to tape backup compatibility and select the appropriate product model::
www.hp.com/go/connect
The EBS matrix (Page - 29) details the list of supported adapters - SC44Ge, P212, P410, P411 & P700m (3Gb, PCI-e, 8 channel)
Link to the EBS matrix ::
