Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
519767-001 looks good for this internal drive. Look up the parts at
partsurfer.hpe.com
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
See "what is in the box" : mini-SAS SFF8482 to SFF8087 cable
https://h10057.www1.hp.com/ecomcat/hpcatalog/specs/provisioner/05/EH957A.htm
Not sure "where" you want to connect it.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
Hi Torsten
Many thanks for your help.
However it seems that the Ultrium 3000 SAS is one of the only LTO-5 drives that needs the extra power connector to connect directly to the PSU (molex)
Please see attached from the HP website
Figure 4: SAS with power cable supplied with LTO-5 Ultrium 3000 internal tape drives
Thanks again...

Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
Just for anyone that was following this, the correct part number is 518885-003
Not sure if this can be bought separately, but luckily tracked down a new one on the bay..

Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
Thanks for posting your results Jason.
If you have any thoughts on my issue here I'd greatly appreciate them - or even just to know which SAS controller you ended up using (obviously yours was an internal tape drive vs my external drive though):
Sincere thanks, Rob.

Re: LTO-5 Ultrium 3000
Hi Rob.
After reading your post I don't think I can offer a lot of help really, I'm sorry.
The card we used is a Smart HBA H240
The only thing that I can think, is that as this tape drive needs a separate power connection that maybe its not getting enough juice from the PSU? But thats just a slim chance..
