LTO - License

Hi,

 I work as internal DPO (data protection officer) for four localities in Belgium. I’m interested in purchasing a LTO (e.g., an LTO 7 ) for four localities but I’m not sure if sharing a LTO among four localities is compliant with an LTO license. Can I share an LTO driver among four localities?

Or did you mean one of these special Licenses?

In fact I would like to use one “HPE StoreEver LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 External Tape Drive” for several localities (administrations). Can I share an external Tape Drive among four administrations (no license problems) ?

Ah, you send the Tape around.
I don't see a License problem, you can attach where you want.

How do you plan to share the tape drive across locations?

If there any licensing restrictions that would normally be with the application software, not the tape drive.

My understanding is, he sends it around as a parcel.
