LTO1 TapeLoader Password
I have a tape stuck in LTO1 TapeLoader. I tried to power cycle the unit, I tried to "eject" tape via DP Manager. Nothing worked. Before I call tech support, I would like to try to use front panel on the loader it self, but I don't know the passwrod. As of my best knowledge, password was never changed.
I tried so far 1234, 12341234, 4321, 43214321.
Any suggestion regarding how to get the tape out or what is a default password.
Regards,
Miro

Re: LTO1 TapeLoader Password
If installed, consider to use the web console.
What model is it? There are sooo many autoloaders ...
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: LTO1 TapeLoader Password
I called HP support and this is what we did:
( using screen on a tape loader it self )
1. Main
2. Operations
3. Drive And Tape Operations
4. Unload Tape From Drive
I was able to do this with out of password and it worked with no problem.
Hope this helps somone in the future.
Thank you again.
