Re: Library & Tape Tools error codes
I can't say for certain where the old 1/8 error codes are documented but these are pretty simple.
Media removal prevented means that the application using the autoloader (often Windows RSM) has issued a command to lock the autoloader and removing media is not allowed. You have to go back to the host that locked the autoloader and unlock it. If you can't figure out how to do that you can remove the SCSI cable and power-cycle the autoloader to clear it.
The "Source element not ready" means that a move command was attempted that can't be done right now because the autoloader was busy doing something else and can't access that element right now.
