Loosing tape drives
On our Proliant 2500 and 3000's we will lose complete communication with the tape drives connected to the internal scsi bus about 1 to 1 1/2 months. In order to restore communication with the drives we have to power down the server and the external drive... power up the drive, then power up the server again. This happened when we were using Netware 4.x and still with 5.1, SSD is 4.9. Any ideas as to what is happening??? All other server models are OK with keeping communications.
Many thanks for any help,
Josh
