ML370 will not boot
Hi I hope someone can give a littler help here. We have an ML370 with a broken 35/70 DLT drive. The tape drive is still configured on the machine,is showing error lights but has never caused any problems regarding the rest of the server. This morning I installed the latest win2lk update and now the machine won't boot into the OS, it is stuck after configuring the disk array with the message
'scsi controller, system board port 1
ID 6 - Compaq 35/70 DLT DRV'
I can't get the CD to work either! Help and thanks in advance for reading this!

Re: ML370 will not boot
Make sure the tapedrive and the internal disks are not on the same scsi channel. What happens if you unplug the power to the tapedrive?

Re: ML370 will not boot
Thanks Johan
I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the DLT device and now everything seems fine - I'll keep my fingers crossed!
