Anyone can tell me RMI service level login password?Thx!!!

The RMI service level login password is for factory support only. At this time there isn't anything special in there, it looks just like the admin account except you can set a log detail filter for cases where support is having problems catching an issue. Not very exciting.

If you are having trouble getting into the admin account you have to set a password using the front panel before you can use the RMI the first time. That is a security feature. You wouldn't want just anybody logging in and playing around just because you plugged it into the network.

The last posting might be best moved to it's own thread. You're looking for "Secure Manager" which isn't available in the MSL family. It's a feature of the higher end libraries which allow you to limit access to the drives or the library controller.

On the MSL family the only access control available is FC Switch zoning which is highly recommended but exactly how you do that varies by switch. That would be controlled by your fibre channel switch and not anything in the library.
