what is the max capacity dlt's can we use with msl5026, at present we are using sdlt320 tapes.
data size has increased hence we need high capacity tapes.

depending of the model of msl5000 you have you may be able to use the upgrade kit with sdlt600 as described in this doc.

We have MSL5026.
Can we use one drive with SDLT 320
and other drive SDLT 600,
is it compatible

It depends on what application you are using. If the application supports pooling or partitioning then yes. If not then no. One other key point here isthe SDLT600 will not run at spec'd performance due to the Doc chip inside the Library which limits it to
80MB/sec. So this would only be a capacity upgrade only.
