MSL 6000 SCSI Library upgrade to FC Library
Hi;
We have MSL 6030 SCSI Library (AJ029A) but we want to turn it to FC Library.
is it enough to buy HP e1200-320 4Gb Fibre Channel Interface Card (AD577A) to turn SCSI library to FC library?
And which FC HBA card to buy for HP DL 380 server that is connected to library directly.
thanks..

Re: MSL 6000 SCSI Library upgrade to FC Library
yes, you need the NSR and you just have to plug it in the Library and connect the drives to it instead of connecting to the server.
you will found here the compatible HBA with your OS: www.hp.com/go/ebs , select the EBS compatibility matrix.
then just check that this HBA is also supported by your server looking in the server compatible components (quickspek may be a source)
