MSL2024 FC library on HPUX 11.23
I have a SUN SL24 FC autoloader (that is the same as MSL2024). When I connect it to an AB379-60101 dual port card (on rp3440 with HPUX 11.23) I can't see it in the ioscan output - but I see the two fc ports of the card).
I have the following errors on dmesg:
0/2/1/0: private loop device didn't acquire its hard address:
Hard Address is 0x0, but acquired AL_PA is 0x2.
System won't be able to see LUNs behind this device port.
It appears that there are (or were) more than one device with the
same address setting.
NOTE: Even after you change the address settings on the devices,
it may be necessary to reset or power-cycle both the
devices whose settings have been changed, and any remaining
device with the address setting which encountered the
conflict.
EXAMPLE: You see this diagnostic message and find three devices with
tion.
The fcmsutil output is:
fcmsutil /dev/fcd0

Howewer if I connect it to the same rp3440 running HPUX 11.31 I can see the library in the ioscan output:

Is this library supported under HPUX 11.23? if yes, what's wrong?
Thanks in advance any help....
Kind regards,
Laszlo
