MSL2024 Tape Library Error

I have a MSL2024 tape library and am using Symantec Exec. 11D for windows backup. However as soon as the backup starts it comes with an error as "Backup or restore job fails with Final error: 0xe00084ed - A hardware error has occurred." On the Event apps log, the event id was pointing to 33152 and it's Source: Backup Exec. I looked at the adamm.log and the SCSi ports however to no avail, the error still appears. Pls help.

You should use LTT and pull a support ticket. Post it here.

Please perform the following steps:

1.From Backup Exec gui disable the device and delete it.

2.Recycle the Backup Exec services.

I'm helping Kasiau with this issue. He is on emergency leave now.

Kranti, i've tried your suggestion but still having the same hardware error
