MSL4048 partitioning
I would like to partition a MSL4048 with 2 LTO5 Fiber channel so i can connect 2 backup server ( DPM2012 ).
IMHO this can be done connecting directly ( without switch ) each server to one of the drives, and each of the server will be able to manage the robotic engine.
I've done this connecting the backup servers and the tape drive to an FC switch and zoning the switch so that each drive is in a separate zone and the corrispondin backup server is in the same zone as the tape drive, but the switch was required in the previous project so i can use an long reach singlemodal fibre and transceiver: in this project i do not have this requirement so i wold like to not use a FC switch if possible.
Best regards
