-During the firmware update of the robotic library, my exchange server's mailbox database had been unmounted. Which in turn caused issues connecting to the mailbox.
-The firmware upgrade was done on my backup server and not the exchange server.
-although the exchange server sees and has the drivers installed for the robotic library.
I would like to know how can I prevent this from happening again, in the event that I would need to update the firmware in the future.
If you need more detail please advise.
Thank you for your time.

Re: MSL4048 tape drive firmware update would unmount exchange mailbox database
Sorry for late response. They are connected via fiber and this resolution resolved it. Thanks
