MSL5000 and ULTRA 5

Hi.
Some body knows if MSL5000 and ULTRA 5 can be conected by SCSI?
When we connect it command probe-scsi-all dont report the MSL5000. However when we conect a library SUN SDLT probe-scsi-all report it.
