MSL5026 Error Code 3032
Hi.
I just replaced a tape drive, library controller card, and SPS board in a Compaq MSL5026. When the library boots I get the following fault code:
Fault Code:3032(Soft)
Chassis Serial Number Character Count is not correct.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Re: MSL5026 Error Code 3032
Hi
Did Run HP StorageWorks Library & Tape Tools (L&TT),what was the result?
And did you get this error code too:
(3031) after the first power on with the new
controller board.
This is expected because the
new controller board did not have this library's serial number stored in memory.
Or maybey there is a previous serial number
stored in there that doesn't match

Re: MSL5026 Error Code 3032
Hi.
I have same problem with two MSL library.
Try with maintenance and factory options on panel control, remove and install parts in different positions. With HP LTT too. on this the option "Overrides parameters" ask me for a factory password, but I don´t know why not function the factory password of the front panel.
Anybody know procedures to resolve this problem.
Thanks.
