MSL5030 SCSI problem
Hi,
I have a MSL5030 tape Library connected to a HP rp3410 server. Last day during a backup, a SCSII time out event occure. Sincen, the server is not able to recognize the tape Library and the Drive 0. Only Drive 1 is detected on the server. I tried "insf" hp-ux command to reinstall the Library, but It didn't work. I think it's SCSII card problem.
Could someone Help me?

Re: MSL5030 SCSI problem
Several options:
- power cycle the library
- inspect cables, terminators
- use LTT to analyze
- open a support call
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: MSL5030 SCSI problem
It sounds like you may be on the right track. You can re-wire the SCSI cables on the library to move the library and drive 0 to the HBA that is currently connected to drive 1 and verify that the library and drive 0 are functioning correctly.
