MSL6000 connect to internal switch on MSA1000 not supported for HP!
veritas 10 run in cluster mode install (I have 2 nodes cluster windows 2003), but veritas log is ok, windows event log is ok.
I send question to HP Argentina, but response is "this configuration is not supported (with embedded switch).
thanks to all for comments and suggestions.

Re: MSL6000 connect to internal switch on MSA1000 not supported for HP!
If somebody in the forum will tell you this is working for him, it doesn't change the support statement in any way.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: MSL6000 connect to internal switch on MSA1000 not supported for HP!
then, I do not see any FC error in the last month, so I think your problem have nothing to do with your configuration.
The fact that the support tell you it is not supported do not mean that if you have a problem on the library they do not solve it.

Re: MSL6000 connect to internal switch on MSA1000 not supported for HP!
FC port 0 too many link errors - chip reset
in the logs of the NSR. This looks like your problem. It could be a bad port on one of the sides (switch or NSR) or just a bad cable.
BTW, the MSA1000 user guide is refering configurations with tape storage connected to the embedded switch.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
