Re: MSL6000 problem

Can you provide any further detail about the configuration?
SCSI attached?
SAN?
LTT Installed? test results?

Re: MSL6000 problem

hi georges,

refer to this doc:

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000081065203
search for fault code, 3013 in the webpage.

Re: MSL6000 problem

It does sound like the library is having communication issues to the drive.

Have you tried the suggestions in the document Joseph referenced for fault code 3013?

You should find similar info in the msl troubleshooting tree: http://www.hp.com/support/msltstree

Was this unit working fine and then started to have issues, or is a new install or did something change (e.g. the drive was installed or replaced)?

Re: MSL6000 problem

Georges,

If you use the troubleshooting tree link, it actually has many GUI screenshots to explain the actions.

To deactive the drive, it says:
Home -> Menu -> Maintenance -> Replace Drive -> Deactivate Drive)
