MSL6030 Writing to tape error

Hi,

Ok, I had already stack 2 MSL6030 with PTM. So I will be 4 drives, 0,1,2,3.

Using DP to write a tape at drive number 3, it writes for a few KBs then aborted and gave me this error in Virtual management log.

Even I use the TAR command in HP-UX also gave me the same output.

Anyone have this experience or solution to solve this?

Thanks

Re: MSL6030 Writing to tape error

If this is fiber channel attached you should check the NSR mapping.

Hope this helps!

Yes it is fiber attached. Can you tell me where exactly in the NSR should I look into to configure?
