MSL6030 able to operate via SCSI and Fibre

Hello

I would like to know if I can use an MSL6030 to connect it to my backup server via SCSI and also connect it to a SAN Switch 2/8 to backup my DL380 packaged cluster.

Otherwise backing up my cluster will take longer via Gigabit ethernetnet.

This is not a supported solution.
What is your backup software?
You can perfectly backup the data of other servers through the lan

I know it's a bit costly, but can you put an HBA into your backup server?

I have been told what I want to do is not feasible.

Re: MSL6030 able to operate via SCSI and Fibre

Can I add a FC Interface to my backup server and connect that to the SAN Switch 2/8 instead, to backup my other servers via Ethernet and my cluster via FC?

Using LAN to backup instead of Fibre switch.
