Hi,
I just purchased a MSL6030 Ultrium2 tape library with e1200-160 storage router, connecting it to a 2800 Brocade switch.
After changing interface speed to 1 Gbps from 2 Gbps, leds became green both on switch and storage router. OK.
Then I tried a 'ioscan -fn' from a HP-UX host in the SAN but I don't see any new device.
I'm not a FC expert but I know that:
- switch port is enabled and set to fabric
- there is no zoning
Any suggestion to proceed furtherly?
Thanks in advance

Re: MSL6030 in SAN environment
Look at the NSR users manual, http://h200002.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpg29075/lpg29075.pdf, at the sections on discovery and setting up a map (e.g. auto assigned map).
The journey IS the reward.
