When i do ioscan -funC autoch, it shows MSL5000 series
autoch 1 0/6/0/0.0.0 schgr CLAIMED DEVICE COMPAQ MSL5000 Series

What should be done so that it shows as MSL6000?

Re: MSL6030 ioscan
Hi,
In my opinion there is no way to change this
because MSL5000 and MSL6000 has the same
changer robot.

Re: MSL6030 ioscan
Uday,
Start with an unonditional scan of the autochanger 'ioscan -fnC autoch' to see if it remains at MSL5000
But anyway as long as the 'ioscan -fnC tape' gives a Ultrium2 drive as response, it is only an estetical error.
best regards,
Kurt

Re: MSL6030 ioscan
I did ioscan -fnC autoch, it shows as MSL5000.
I checked on front panel LCD it says MSL6000 series, but browsing through Menu -> SCSI options -> its displays
Product Identification "MSL5000" &
Vendor Identification "Compaq"
