MSL6030 password recovery

Hello,

We have lost track of the "Level 2" password of our MSL (password is required to remove the tape slots etc, and in numerical only, the default is 2). Is there any easy way to reset this?
I tried connecting to it with MSLUtil, to ni avail. (very interesting task when all you have is blade servers).
The cable I use works fine with mu E1600 FC router.

Really appreciate any help!

Leo,

I can recover it from an LTT support ticket. Do you have L&TT installed?

If not, grab it from www.hp.com/support/tapetools, and then run it an a host with connectivity to the library controller (i.e. SCSI or fibre), and generate a support ticket.

Send the ticket to ltt_team@hp.com, with my name in the subject line. You can post a follow-up here and I'll check the mailbox.
