MSL6030 with 2 LTO4
Hi would like to know if its a good practice to connect 2 LTO4 with one NSR. What would be the best performance(MB/s) that one can expect from this configuration.

Re: MSL6030 with 2 LTO4
Hi Majid,
That would depend on two things you have to consider:
1) The model of your MSL6030, some model of MSL6000 series had DOC chip that had a limited speed of Ultra 80 and Ultra 160, check the following customer advisory at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c00598538&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN
2) The type of NSR you have installed also could affect the performance of the LTO4 drive, even thou is not an issue have connect 2 LTO4 drives to a 4G NSR Ultra 320 you can experience some performance when doing simultaneous backup to both drives. Check customer advisory at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c01122518&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Re: MSL6030 with 2 LTO4
I have NSR E1200-320 and currently 2 LTO4 1840 drives.
What is the ideal bandwidth(MB/sec) I can get if I m using 1/2 LTO 4 .
