Magazine layout for the MSL2924 tape drive
What is the tape magazine layout where is slot one and which way do they run? I have a left and right magazine what slots are in which magazine?

If you bring up the web interface then check the Status->Inventory link it will show you exactly where all of the slots are.
The slots are numbered front to back bottom to top within a magazine. The only thing that effects the numbering is whether you have a mailslot configured. Numbering skips mailslot locations.
In a 2024 with no mailslot the bottom left magazine bottom front slot is 1 and with a mailslot that will be the mailslot and the next slot back is 1.
