Mailslot NOT AVAILABLE in MSL4048

Hi people,
I have one MSL4048 with 2 drives. When I try to configure the mailslot (Configuration>Library>Mailslot enable> NOT AVALAIBLE). I cant configure it, it shows me like not available, what is happen???

i'm not sure but maybe your backup-software
has allocated the mailslot as a normal slot?

the option you mention is from the web-interface of the library?

Its an option from the front panel and the web interfaz, both of them

check this :
The MSL4048 tape library has a white dot on the front
bezel. The magazine with a corresponding white dot
should be inserted into the lower left position for mail slot
capability. A magazine without the white dot, will NOT
have mailslot capability regardless of where it is placed.
