Hello,

I would like to know what exactly the mailslot operation of the Galactica family DLT libraries is, and what difference does it make if you configure it for 1 mailslot operation and if you configure it for 5 mailslot operation.

mailslot config, let you choise how many catridge at a time you insert in the library, in the past, the mail slot was only one and was the way to insert one by one catridge or optical disk in the library.
nowadays, you can handle more than one catridge at a time.
if you don't use the mail slot to load new catridges, you need usualy to run a inventory check which will run on all slots of your library.
