Mailslot operation
Hello,
I would like to know what exactly the mailslot operation of the Galactica family DLT libraries is, and what difference does it make if you configure it for 1 mailslot operation and if you configure it for 5 mailslot operation.
Thanks very muvh in advance.

Re: Mailslot operation
Hi,
the mailslot functionality allows you to add or remove tapes easily. The mailslot is always located in the upper right-hand door. You can change tapes without a full inventory check after closing this door (important for a 140 slot box, it's much faster online).
It's better to ask this question in the storage area.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
