Media error on Tape allocation for Ultrium drive on ESL712e library

After issuing this Media command we received the error below. Any clues to its source as the issue.

Resolution we've tried: We've restarted the media_server process.

$ Media P00711 Allocate /Type=LTO4IN /Log
%MEDIA-F-INVPHY, The physical device name is invalid for the requested type
