Microsoft update offers new driver

Server is Ms Windows 2008 standard server, 64 bit, with a HP Ultrium 448 internal tape drive.
Microsoft Update offers a new driver, Update type is optional.
More information says: Hewlett Packard Storage software update released in May, 2009.

Should I install this driver?

Not really, HP offer this driver http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/tape/smartcomp/HPStorageWorksTapeDrivers.zip
however if you use Veritas you should use Symantec Drivers.
