Msl6000 upgrade tape drive?

I am using MSL6000 tape library which supports ULTRIUM LTO-3 tape drive.
Now I want to upgrade to LTO-4 ULTRIUM 1840 because it supports hardware encryption and bigger tape capacity through LTO-4 generation.
Can the library tape drive be changed to LTO-4 ULTRIUM 1840 keeping the existing tape library?
IтАЩve been looking to online product HP Storage Works LTO-4 ULTRIUM 1760 SCSI Internal Tape Drive EH921A and HP Storage Works LTO-4 ULTRIUM 1840 SCSI Internal Tape Drive EH853A.
Are these products compatible to this tape library?
Is there any addition hardware or software component needed for this change?

Re: Msl6000 upgrade tape drive?

Yes, the library supports LTO-4 Ultrium 1840, but not that part number.

EH853A is a drive to be mounted on a server or tape rack, the MSL uses drives mounted on another carrier.

You must order:

HP MSL6000 LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 Tape Drive -AJ028A

Thanks for your reply,

So it means no additional hardware is needed, only the HP StorageWorks MSL6000 LTO-4 Ultrium 1840 Tape Drive Upgrade Kit (AJ028A)?

Thanks,

Where can I find online prices for AJ028A because did not find any price list at HP site for this product?
