Hello everyone. There is a HP MSL6480 Fibre Channel tape library connected to SAN switch. Also there is an HP server with Windows Server 2012R2 connected to SAN switch by two host bus adapters. I've enabled MPIO feature in Windows Server, but tape drives and changer are duplicated in device manager, and backup soft also sees them duplicated. Is there any solution to fix this behavior? Thanks.

SolutionAFAIK there is no multipath I/O, but basic and advanced path failover, a licensed feature depending on drive generaton (LTO-5 or -6). Advanced failover need a special driver and a license.
Multipathing will be a feature of LTO-7.
The user guide has all the details.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
