NSR M2402 , MSL 5052, Library goes offline
We have 2 servers (W2K SP3) connected to the NSR and a 5052 .2 drives are allocated to each server. Backup software is backupexec 8.6. We recently upgraded one of the servers to platform kit 8.7 , Securepath 4 and updated the HBA drivers to 5.4-82a16. Since then during a backup the NSR reboots itself and is no longer available to the upgraded server. The other server still sees the library. It was recommended to upgrade the NSr firmware to 4.03.21. But this did not help. Anybody have any ideas ? I did notice that the RESETTPRLO value got changed to 2 on the rebuilt server.

Re: NSR M2402 , MSL 5052, Library goes offline
Is it the only difference in the driver's registry? Please check and try setting it the same as on non-upgraded servers. That's all I can advise using the information you've provided

Hi,
The ResetTPRLO setting of 2 is ok, as a matter of fact it is adviceable.
Disconnect the management network port on your M2402. This might resolve the rebooting.
