Old tape formats
Can anyone point me in the direction as to what drive I will need to read a DC2000 tape?
I am assuming my seagate 8.0 gig will not read it.
Regards

Re: Old tape formats
"Ditto" or "Travan" drive, a.k.a. "QIC40" I think.

Re: Old tape formats
David,
Have a look at the following URL:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=lpg11055&locale=en_US&docId=41598
This shows the "DC2000" as a QIC-40 format tape using low-density.
HTH,
Dave
