Re: Painfully slow performance on HP Ultium 448
Hi Pablo,
When I do change the VHDCI from port 2B to 2A on the Adaptec SCSI card my PC doesn't load up correctly and the tape drive is not recognised. The drive only works at all on this PC with the configuration described in the support ticket.
Is my PC the problem? Should I use this device on a new one?
Thanks and apologies for all these questions!!

Re: Painfully slow performance on HP Ultium 448
Should I have 2 separate HBA adaptec SCSI cards. With one connected to the tape drive and the other connected to the pc hard drives. My machine only has enough space for one.
Also the last post on this link http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1109419 says that the difference HBA's should be separate brands? Is this true?
