Problem installing LTT on HPUX11.11

I'm installing the product on a D220 running 11i. I have installed it both with the small script that comes in the tar pkg, and via swinstall.

First the software ends up with a mystery UID and GID, which I can change to something like bin:bin.

Second, when I try to run hp_ltt, I get the following:
sh: ./hp_ltt: Execute permission denied.

I have checked the permissions, etc. All looks ok.

This pkg sure doesn't install very cleanly.

I verified that as well. It appears that they were not changed properly (to bin:bin) during the build process. We'll make sure that gets fixed in the next SR release.

Are you attempting to run as root?

LTT 3.3 & 3.4 had a change that would only run on PARISC 2.0 or better (that will get rectified in the next release). Do you know if the D220 is PARISC 2.0 or above?

The D220 is a PA 1.1, so that explains that. And I can fix the ownership.

Is there anyway that I can get something that will work with the 1.1 chip?

We'll get both of the issues fixed in the next release.

In the mean time, you can grab LTT 3.2 which should run on PARISC 1.1.

Thanks. I got the 3.2 version and it does work on the D. I'll keep my eyes open for the new release.
