Problem with HP StorageWorks DAT 72 USB and Data Protector Express 3.5

I have a problem with my Storageworks tape drive and Data Protector Express, the tape drive doesn't show up in the devices tab.
I have searche for a solution on the HP help pages but all that it says is to install drivers, which I have done. Both drivers required (hpdat.sys and hpusbmsc.sys) are installed.

Windows Device Manager displays that the tape drive is installed and working, it is connected via a USB 2.0 port.

I am at my wits end here, please help.

Hi Johan:

There was a known issue with DPX 3.5 SP0 and SP1 discovering USB DAT tape drives.

Try upgrading to the latest DPX version and hotfix (see below hyperlink).

Thanks, I think I have SP1 installed, I'll try the update as soon as I can. Funny I couldn't find any information about that while troubleshooting on the HP website.
