By the way, the default IP of the NSR is 1.1.1.1. That one is not working?

This **was** the default long time ago, nowadays it is DHCP (name is "Router").

I have been trying the 252850-001 cable which says it is RJ11 and this is the one thats not working. I also have a RJ12/DB9/ Which one is it I need

That one is for the library controller module, in case you forgot the Remote Management Interface (Web) Password.

You should have another one that came with the NSR.
