Problems with SSL2020

I have SSL2020 tape library with two drives. On a server system Windows Server 2003 SP1 works. For reserve copying standard program NTBackup is used. The given problem exists for overwhelming quantity of tapes. However some tapes I do not test a problem and on them it is possible to make reserving copying without mistakes.

First I try to release the device. For this purpose in the context menu in Computer Management snap-in I choose command Free. The tape passes Free carriers in a pool. And I have noticed, that in a column the Format costs Removable Storage Service Further I try to create a backup copy. This operation failed. In the Event Log there are messages on a mistake:

RSM it was not possible to check up the carrier in the device the Drive 0 libraries Compaq SSL2000 Series Mini-Library of that the identifier on the carrier has not coincided with expected.

Who can advise how to solve a problem?
